- The number of places available for Romanian and EU candidates in the Civil Engineering in French and Civil Engineering in English specializations is 30 places for budget-funded studies and 20 places for tuition fees.
- The number of places is total, for both specializations, the candidates being admitted in the order of the admission averages.
- Candidates from outside the EU have at their disposal another 100 tuition fee places. Candidates from outside the EU are in the process of obtaining the letter of acceptance for university studies in Romania from the Ministry of National Education. Additionally, every year at FILS, European students are studying in Erasmus + mobility (mainly from France, Portugal, Spain and Italy).
- In the admission session from July, in order of classification, within the limits of the approved places for each field or study program, the candidates are declared eligible except for those whose overall average admission is less than 5, which are declared rejected.
- Candidates who have obtained distinctions (prizes I, II, III, mention) at national or international school Olympics recognized by the Ministry of National Education during high school studies have the right to enroll without the support of the competition admission, on places financed by the budget, in UTCB.
- Redistribution of candidates to budget-financed places is done in the order of the admission grade. The candidate may also have the option to be redistributed on a fee-paying basis to a particular specialization, according to the numbering of redistribution options in the enrollment form.
- Candidates rejected in the July session may take part in the contest in the September session on vacant places.
- The evolution of the number of candidates enrolled, the final list of eligible candidates, the schedule of language proficiency test, results and other announcements will all be posted on the Announcements and Admission Results page.
- Candidates from high schools located in the countryside can enroll in specially budgeted places, allocated according to the law.
- For Romanian citizens candidates of rrome ethnicity , a number of subsidized places are allocated by the Order of the Minister of National Education. Candidates will submit a written recommendation from a legally constituted rrome organization (civil, public, political) stating that they belong to the rrome community.
