Registration for the graduation examination is done by each graduate, on the basis of a written request, at the FILS secretariat. The application must be accompanied by the supervisor’s report, stating that the graduation project is complete and can be presented during the session in question (registratior for the graduation exam).

Graduation projects which do not have the  report of the supervisor  or have a negative report from him/her, cannot be defended in front of the final examination committee (see scientific coordinator’s report).

When registering for the exam, accompanied by the supervisor, students must submit:

Students will be awarded two marks for the graduation exam:

(a) in the written examination – a mark reflecting the evaluation of fundamental and specialized knowledge of the Romanian language and specialized languages. The grade will be to two decimal places, without rounding, as reflected in the final graduation test score;

b) in the oral test – a full mark (from 1 to 10) reflecting the quality and presentation of the graduation project, as well as the quantification of the answers to the questions asked by the committee, based on the content of the project.

The average mark for the final examination is calculated as the arithmetical average of the marks for each test, to two decimal places, without rounding off. The minimum pass mark for the final examination shall be 6,00, provided that each test is passed with at least 5,00.
