Podium for the FILS team at the CADRE Competition – XI th Edition, December 4 – 6, 2025

The Faculty of Railways, Roads, and Bridges at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest organized the 11th edition of the CADRE – Bridge and Wooden Truss Model Competition, aimed at students passionate about construction from all over the country. Students from technical universities in Bucharest, as well as from university centers in Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Timișoara, Iași, and the Republic of Moldova, participated in the competition.

From the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages – FILS, a total of 9 teams from the IInd, IIIrd, and IVth years of the English and French sections took part in one of the two competition categories: bridges and trusses.

For the bridges section, out of the 72 participating teams, our IVth-year students from the English section, Pîrvu Gabriela and Enache Ioana-Alexia, won third place. We are proud of this team, which once again demonstrated that perseverance, teamwork, and an engineering spirit lead to success.
